hey , yesterday i went to watch Singapore vs Liverpool. It was really FASCINATING because the atmosphere was great, it felt that i was at Anfield.About 45 000 spectators turned up.Before the match , a lady sang You'll Never Walk Alone and the whole stadium was singing as the tune goes. At the start of the match, the spectators did kallang waves and chanting Torres , Xabi Alonso. The match was going to stop at half time and the 4th official indicated that there was an additonal time of 1 min and Liverpool didnt slack , they push forward and they got their goal by Andriy Voronin. Loud cheers could be heard from almost everyside of the stadium,that time i thought that it is worth it to come here. you can feel the feeling of about 45 000 liverpool fans gathered together. that feeling is amazing. At the start of the 2nd half. Albert Riera came on and he scored to make it 2-0 to the Reds. At the 60th minute, Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres came on !! woo !! many people cheered. Torres almost scored just after he came on but the ball was blocked by the goalkeeper. Then, there was loud cheers of XABI ALONSO. Then, in the 73rd minute , the 20 year old Nemeth slide the ball pass the Singapore goalkeeper to make it 3-0. and the moment came . XABI ALONSO came on in the 77th minute. Than Torres scored one and Nemeth heads another goal to make it 5-0 and the game ended with loud roars across the stadium. This experience to be at "Anfield" is priceless,the whole stadium surrounds with Liverpool fans. Apart from this , before the match , there was a Man Utd supporter wearing Man u jersey walking up the stairs and went to the top of the stadium and watch the match. I was like "huh? he come here for what?get bash by Liverpool supporters?or maybe he planned to get bash already. Than got alot of people looking at him and say " MAN U SUCKS " , in the end he was forced to take off his shirt and he wore another NIKE red shirt. lol nike is the sponsor brand for Man u .. zz this kind of ppl come here so stupid lo.if want to watch the match , dont wear man u jersey ma . haiz . this is call 自找麻烦.
